@Makotoyukidesu That is literally what a backstory is though. It is just that her motivation is so dumb and ridiculous that it doesn't actually help to fill in the details, if anything it somewhat makes the whole thing seem even dumber.

I don't really see the point of giving her a back story in the first place, it doesn't really add anything to the story and just reaffirms that she is stupidly crazy.

At this point it feels pointless to complain about either the twins or their family, because all of the characters come across as poorly written. I guess the only reason I've not dropped it yet is because I'm curious about what the heck Rurahel was.

Wasn't expecting that family to get back into the story any time soon, can't say that I'm unhappy about it though.

@thtgiang So, are you assuming that all the ones complaining about Oscar are forgiving about all other problematic characters in manga? Just because there are worse characters out there doesn't mean stalking is something acceptable.

@Noah_53 The flashback is shown more from Oscars perspective though, if it was supposed to be Floras memory then it would mean it is somewhat badly written.

@Simply_Fiction Seem pretty similar to present Oscar to me, considering how he rationalizes himself stalking Flora constantly.

I can't say anything about accuracy, but this was well above average in readability for mtl.

I'm guessing she might be so doting that Suya-chan find it annoying.

Attract the supernatural?, no Oscar, the painting itself is more supernatural than any of those posers can ever hope to be.

@Beregorn The fourth one was the one that was clearly kept separate from the rest though and never sharing a page so I wasn't really counting that one.

I guess I can see why some would feel that this chapter was hard to follow, although I didn't feel that way myself as I feel it presented all three "scenes" well enough for me to keep track of the transitions. I quite like how it melds three separate but similar occasions together to show that...

At the rate they were spending the money they would have been back in debt within a week or two. lol
