I low-key kind of hate this. Not because it's bad, but because of the internal screaming it induces on a per-page basis. And it's not even one kind of internal screaming, this one chapter somehow pushed all of the buttons in sequence.
I kinda dig it tbh, at least it will set it apart from the other summer time loop manga that recently started, which is a lot sillier and upbeat (I like them both for opposite reasons).
Between the brown eyes and personality change after consuming blood, I have to assume she just hasn't eaten in a while. Might get confirmation next chapter if her eyes are more red after several meals.
I'm happy for MC and all but to me the biggest draw for this series is gonna be finding out who TF the body swapper was and what's happening with her now that she's a queen with no magic powers.
This manga is such a 90s vibe it hurts lmao. The character designs had me thinking this before (especially the MC's delinquent friend) but this chapter really took it to another level.
What is even happening in this series anymore lmao. Definitely feels like our new antagonists are just going to end up as "good friends" with Nonoa, same as the two dudes sharing a bed :smugnako:
So he's the Warrior of Light from FFXIV then.
I guess you could make an entire series solely from the premise of that one fight in the Shadowbringers Trailer where WoL is just swapping from job to job mid fight but how good it'll be heavily depends on the execution.
