This is a SoL… if you’re expecting this to wrap up in 50 chapters I’d say don’t get your hopes up. The webcomic on Twitter doesn’t show any meaningful progression yet, it’s probably approaching 50 “chapters” (they’re a lot shorter so I don’t think it’s quite fair to compare chapter for chapter...
Another interesting thing in Gapyeong is the Canadian Korean War Monument. It was on my bucket list when I went to Korea but I couldn’t make the time for it in the end.
I’m actually really happy about this chapter despite it being a somber one. The fact that she cleared up the misunderstanding at the soonest moment was truly an example of honesty & integrity.
Why write it like that? Legit no reason to right it like that. Painstakingly craft this character dev arc just to throw it away on the last page. Even if this transitions into a whole arc where she breaks up w/ her current bf, it doesn’t make up for this kick in balls for him on this chapter...
Why convert to Fahrenheit? It was originally in Celsius, just keep it in Celsius. Not only is it easier to understand for the majority of readers, it’s more faithful to the original.
No helmets huh… not only that, they’re racing on a conventional public hill. There’s nothing to skill check on a wide hill, it’s just a race that incentivizes them to bomb the hill. If you’re ever going to race, go to a snowboard cross track.
