I really would have liked to see this continue further. Does the genre of the manga change? Does a different character become the protagonist? Do Misaki and Megumi suddenly have to "move away"? Does the manga get cancelled? Or does it, perhaps, become more popular? Alas, it ended just as things...
I've cut this series an enormous amount of slack because I thought the original premise was interesting, but it really is some of the stupidest shit out there. So disappointing.
I had hopes for this series, but this stuff is about as dull and derivative as it gets. Deeply lazy storytelling that can't be salvaged by such flimsy characters. I'm out.

So she fell for him because he was an asshole to her and basically said that she deserved to get assaulted? Lovely.
I really don't understand why so many characters like him. He's a prick more often than not.

Would it really be so bad for the hero's well-crafted plans not to be undone by the villain's surprise powers at least once in a while? It's an issue across all of action and thriller manga. There always has to be some other twist that puts the bad guy back on top.
There's nothing inherently...
So it went exactly as I feared it would, with the mother being proven "right" and not even having to apologize for such profoundly obnoxious bullshit. This is the first time this series has truly disappointed me, but I can't say that I'm actually surprised. It is Japan, after all. In the end...
