This one is hard to read. Not because of translations, but because the plot just doesn't add up things happen but there feels like the continuity is missing. Art is Meh, details feel lacking. 4/10 at best

Fan translations only reached to approximately the early/middle of Volume 3 IIRC, and they've long since stopped because of the licensed Translation. So the Official TL has now passed the fan TL. Currently there are 7 LN volumes out in japan. Vol 7 was released in February; Haven't been able...

Yeah, This series, Death Note, and Gate are ones that come to mind. It's a hard genre to do well, but when it is done well, it becomes fantastic.

nice to see this get picked back up, great premise, I just hope the story improves a bit so far it's been a series of odd and bad decisions by the whole cast.

It's mentioned earlier in the series, but gear available is tied to their rank. He is still considered F rank, so he can't buy from the JDA shop. It's one of the dumber rationalizations in the series, since he could just buy from 3rd parties if he wanted to not seem like a noob.

Chapter 31 is going to be good~ That said, there is a lot of story to go. Vol. 7 of the LN came out in February, and we are currently around halfway through Vol 2. (maybe less depending how they stretch out ~certain events~ in the rest of Vol 2.
