I don't understand how people see the webcomic as the superior version. The serialization is literally the webcomic pages, and then some chapters have more pages for context and content additions. The only reason the webcomic is better is because it's further along in the story

I had reservations starting this right when it first came out because of the tragedy tag, but the art and story hooked me. At its completion, I can 100% say I'm glad I read. This is an adorable, wonderful, multi-faceted story with two adorable gays and their beautiful relationship. It's a must read.

Something the webtoon adaptation mentioned but glossed over a bit is why the ants ate the enemies. In the light novel, it's explained a bit more how the ants knew to devour the defeated undead, because the arch lich would just revive them again. If they're eaten by the ants, though, they can't...
