The latest chapter (3.1) reminded me of Endo and Kobayashi’s Live Commentary on the Villainess. The whole misunderstanding each other and the prince suddenly getting insight into the girl's thoughts.

Funny that Reimu mentions the "Grass-Cutter Sword." Depending on the exact timeline, it's either in a junk pile in Marisa's house or Rinnosuke has it.

Note that that these should be called "phantoms" rather than "ghosts." Two different things in Touhou. Ghosts look more human and aren't cold. Youmu is half-phantom, however.

So... exactly how do merpeople learn to read? Maybe some sort of magic displays? But then wouldn't that be the way that writing would be stored instead of books? Urg...
