I think it's fine, this isn't a novel, they need remove text and replace them with images, that's how a good adaptation works, characters have expressions so there's no need to explain everything with text

@chietcom @Amplify That's the main problem, this isn't the novel, it's an adaptation and that's my whole point, if it feels organic in the novel it isn't in the manga, it's bad writing in the adaptation from novel to manga. You can easily tell this from our discussion so far, novel readers say...

@Amplify I just checked the first 15 chapters, there's no hint that announcer is sentient, it just shows 'system messages'. To turn it sentient 3 years after it was first introduced just to solve a situation where MCs think they are done for is the definition of asspull / Deus ex machina...
