I just started reading this on a whim and halfway though felt like this was similar to Fire Punch (MC being oblivious and easily manipulated with multiple disposable characters) and yeah I wasn't wrong that the author was the same.
@michaeltan02 iirc it's also to check the temperature so that you don't accidentally burn your tongue. Your hand's skin is far less sensitive than your tongue.
Huh, that's a nice surprise. His class isn't actually afraid of him. Most of the scary-faced MC stories I've read tends to start the MC being a loner or only having a close knit group that knows he's not actually a scary person but this one looks like it starts with him being already integrated...
