@Jenst Yeah, I remember going back to watch Yu-Gi-Oh as an adult, because I had only seen pieces of episodes on tv when I was a kid. It was pretty cringy to watch because they had speeches about friendship/bonds EVERY episode and sometimes more than once.
@Winzent Do you know if the novel scripted the scene like this? It might just be one of those "Everybody who reads the manga reads the novel too, right?" kind of assumptions. Basically they didn't plan out how many chapters the manga would need before the arc's climax, so now their cramming it...
@Oukishi Well for vampires, when you think of them making a contract with humans it's almost always about making them cattle or thralls. Basically slaves.
@RevereShin I think this got axed, so they're trying to wrap this up by like chapter 15. That means they have to introduce random info we've never heard of.
@jdexo1 I looks like for some frames they use a cheap 3D model instead of a 2D and it just looks gross like the sh*tty Berserk 3D animation from the last two seasons. They do the say thing to the MC's character model a few times as well.
Did Kaya not notice that said "beautiful person" looked at her with eyes of disgust/hatred? How much you wanna bet she'll try to steal him from the mc because she's a dumb thot.
@Justking14 However all of those witnesses are villagers, so it not unthinkable for a village hide things the need from the lord. Like hiding some of the harvest from tax collectors.
@Justking14 Yeah, and then the lord gets pissed at them, thinking that they lied to protect their supply. As a result, the greedy villagers and merchants get severe punishments.
@Roadrunner9000 While they didn't officially exclude him from succession. Having the support of the nobility is a HUGE factor on which son inherits the throne. After publicly insulting the Saintess who has already made major contributions to the country, no noble will openly support him.
