Im scared that THIS is the stuff that gets picked for publication from fan-sites, the stuff that manages to outshine everything else, meaning that deep down there is even MORE generic or actively worse trash.
The ending felt very abrupt, but at least we got a sort of resolution to the mystery and the characters got to the point were you can give closure, one of those endings that really needs an epilogue.
Thank you for your hard work translating!
Problem with the ending is that it makes no sense, half of the series builds up for something, and then the last chapter is like "nope" and then completely course corrects from the entire series without any buildup, avoid, there are better romcoms out there.
@Chabert You're right, the epilogue IS fun if you're into those kind of endings (and I am), and the jokes are not bad, but for me the characters just dont land, as I said, its not the worst, but there are far better completely scanlated ones.
None of the misteries pay off, none of the answers are satisfactory, the main mystery of what happened to Ayumi is just plain stupid and none of the characters have much depth.
The author tries to include heavy elements like GOD, and WAR and GENOCIDE into the mix, but its obvious he bit more...
It has its moments, throughout its overall pretty so-so by today's standards (though it was pretty unique when it was first scanlated way back then), but as it moves forward the characters begin to shine and their personalities and relationships take center stage.
The best thing is that as it...
@migh As I said, you speak for yourself, not that I dont enjoy it for that as well, but if thats all you personally can think of thats your bussiness, not mine.
