I wish I could read this manga for the first time again. Words alone cannot describe how enigmatic Makima is. Guanxi tried to even fight the Darkness Devil, faced Santa Clause (also holy hell how strong is Halloween girl actually?) but just seeing Makima makes her instantly surrender. Insane.

Man the paneling here is insane. Manga as a medium works really well for stuff like this and Fujimoto certainly knows how to use it. The darkness beeing thr devils cloak but also the panel border. Peak.
