this feels like classic shounen jump 1:1 battles where allies first go down and then beat up the enemy anyways. it not bad, but not exactly what i expected here.

while i'm not a fan of translations suddenly appearing once someone else posted theirs, at least this translation makes much more sense, so thanks for that.

is it just me, or is the chapter also slightly out of order? ah right, you can even tell by the page on the lower corner 12 > 18 > 13. that should have been an easy catch.

sad ending point, but while i initially liked the character depth and the whole alchemy setting, i often found myself rather confused with the plot progression and the motivation behind the main characters. the last few chapters felt like rushing the whole complexity to a somewhat usable end...

going by aggregator sites, seems this story finished around chapter 14, either by choice or by the axe. was a fun overall read, i enjoyed it quite a bit, but maybe it lacked the the kind action battles other series include.

truly hope Gaine is still alive, just so we can see the aftermath about him getting downed for real this time. let's see him and his family turn into criminal slaves for this mess.

a great piece of evidence that never found their way to any authority. while shika might have been scared to death, what exactly prevented sumire from ever going public with it? i expect another crappy plot element here. this series is as bad as it's trying to be dark.

i can get past alot of dumb elements, but the bust size, boy, why do they need them this big? is it so hard to grab attention to the series otherwise? D:

that was too easy and quick, but there's always the chance for the dumb Judal to dig his grave even deeper later on. let's count on that.
