Chapter 1 and 2 flowed so seamlessly. I read them both and was like what, wasn't there 2 chapters? Checks to find out I already read them both.

I'm bothered by the veteran, when in the middle of a seriously bad combat situation in which one of his fellow veterans is killed, he just casually decides to take a lock of hair from his corpse. Wait until the battle is over! I'm thinking he'll live, but he still is risking becoming a corpse...

The first 3 chapters are very mild. I thought this was going to get weirder and more gruesome fast.
