The author is really going hard on the sudden bloodthirsty thing. If he truly lost/got his emotions dulled when he transferred then he wouldn't have saved Iruna in the first place, or befriended the neighbourhood dragon. However now he's seemingly about to slaughter the whole town for the errors...

@Madnacc Indeed, what manga was he reading. I mean when a little girl gained world destroying powers just because she believed she became the kin of a powerful dragon, it should have tipped him off.

@GruntZone360 Its not really a wishy washy act, their previous interactions were more like that but I would still call them more slow banter than wishy washy. Right now she's being clear about her decision, and just not about her reasons.

I think she just cheated on her ex-husband and that's why she thinks she can't stay faithful to one person. It may be because she never really loved her husband or because she just falls into relationships too easy.
