This is weird. It almost like it becomes a different webtoon when the emperor is involved (her reactionsand tone ) than when the author is building on the setting.

What is going on? I know that it's mostly internal but all this swooning maiden scenes seem out of place after all the previous events. This is good but I wish more characters were like Raeliana from "The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion"

@jazz9 That's the point. Everyone can screw up. But in this case the daughter is the most unreasonable one. Both of them lost the mother but the daughter had the option to just run away into her room and close off. He deosn't have that luxury. He stops they both lose. Has he had time to grieve...

@ssttss Not in the setting the story is in. Killing a royal family to ensure no issues of succession/rebellion was quite common.

I don't understand people complaining of him obeying orders, when he decided on that. Also, he has been alive for hundreds of years, being around this master is a drop to that. To him this is like killing time.

@Reinas I don't trust it yet. Way too many start with FMC hating on MC then for some reason it always ends up in romance between the 2; it was a misunderstanding, he really is nice, she just falls for just because feelings. I am way to wary.
