Normal chapters vary between 12 and 16 pages. It’s just the first 2 or 3 that are more than 20 pages. Edit: actually, I just double checked, all chapters are 16 pages, except chapters with coloured covers, of course.

I think Yuko has always been a bit cuckoo. That was indeed Esemori at the hospital, years ago, but Yuko was seeing him as “Akira”, the kid she knew and loved. He didn’t remember her, probably due to some memory issues caused by drugs (he did mention having this kind of trouble in the past)...
