@Lithe I personally don't think it "decided" to take the oil. It's more likely that it just recognized another liquid around, and that it just just happened to be oil. I think it's a coincidence and that Kid Emperor simply misunderstood it as intent.

I bet Tanjirou's going to turn into a demon instead of dying, and then he'll be a demon using the sun breath (like Kokushibou and his moon breath). As for him turning into a demon, I think it'd either be through Muzan's blood directly or from Nezuko giving him her own blood. Probably the latter.
