Honestly that aspect of it was so frustrating, it's probably why it go axed despite all the dangling plot threads (which the author wasn't really doing much with, let's be honest). Like the male MC's weird 'when I'm about to die, some demon emperor shows up and eat the other suprnaturals' thing...
