I figured from that one chapter way back that the shapeshifter was a fox of some sort, but with that body shape it seems more like a very large raccoon dog (tanuki). I guess that would make sense, considering how they are depicted in Japanese folklore.
Tachibana still going strong in the reaction face game, excellent job on the field today. Contender Jinguuji needs to seriously work on his performance if he hopes to ever catch up.
I feel that most ideas for LN/manga these days come from video games.
Not that I'm complaining. At least it's a different kind of game this time, instead of "woah I got hit by a moped and fell into a fantasy world but it's just like my RPG games lol and also I need to get revenge?!??"
@Nep I mean, yeah, but you usually don't make captains out of the guys that are mostly just good at killing.
Look at these men and tell me that they could lead an army to battle. One of them would turn on his allies at the drop of a hat, one of them would lose on purpose to get some thrills out...
The idiots and perverts were bad news, but this guy is literally a rampaging psycho. Is this kingdom being held hostage by its knights, or does nobody higher up actually care about their bullshit? Why do they keep these turds around?
Thanks for the chapter, but the names were definitely a bit janky this time. Some of those were pretty much just plain old translation errors, like Mars -> Marth and Gjallarhorn -> Garalhorn.
I like that they're acknowledging the fact that Diina's really suspicious. Gives me hope that they're not going for the obvious twist.
I guess the WN readers would know, but those guys can keep their spoilers to themselves.
