@ivorypuma a katana is a katana. it's not a tsurugi. this design is a lot more practical than the single-edge blade katana though because it offers you many different approaches in swordplay.

ninja don't use katana, they use shorter blades for concealment and for ease of mobility-katana is not good for that. these writers will always do whatever they can to bring up the katana to no end. kind of annoying honestly. still though shadow skill..reminds me of assassins from ragnarok :D

I like this manga but the next chapter will be the deal breaker. If Fran shows independence from the sword and depend on her skills even just for a little while until help from the sword or party member arrives I'll continue to read it. If she ends up being saved by the sword before her talents...
