Yeah, I just worded it wrong. I do agree that this author did it fairly well. It’s not shoe horned in, but shows/hints at how it happened right before it happened rather than just have a “WITH THE POWER OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP…”

Ye, I just worded my statement wrong. I just meant that Deus ex machina is extremely hard to implement correctly, and that most writers cant do that correctly. However, this writer did it fairly well and i applaud them for doing it right. Again this was on my and my poor wording.

Ah yes, a deus ex machina (translated as: god from the machine in Latin). One of my least favorite plot device, mainly because of how hard it is to implement it correctly. However, I do think it would work fairly well here if it’s explained well as to why it happened when it did.
