I personally think it’s about how much magical energy they have that determines if they can take a humanoid form or not. We were already told that Riche was extremely weak and on the verge of disappearing, so I assume he’s not able to take a humanoid form because of the lack of magical energy...

I love how neither side knows that they exist. Sure the king thinks that the kings of the forest is involved and the MC vaguely knows that someone’s at fault but doesn’t know whose fault. Those last few pages are some hype material. Can’t wait to see how they fight back against the Platinum Squares and the government, and I can’t wait to see just how strong Alto gets in the future. And regarding “Those” pages, they deserve each other. It’s enough to make a grown man cry tears of joy.
