it seems like hinako's desperate to cling to the one thing she has control over in her life (her love for taketora) and she's letting it define her at the risk of everything else (hina's friendship). she's a kid so i'm trying to be understanding but wow

taketora always gave bad vibes and this chapter didn't improve that feeling. it seems he must be quite older than hinako, since he researched time travel in the present day, so it's a bit ick to ship them even if she likes him. i love how he seems to be so obsessed with covering his tracks but...

oof just came back and binged this series.. so now she's gonna stay in the past and try to survive with Takaaki, but Taketora will come in and give her a choice to go back to the future. this story will definitely have a sad ending

i don't think she's just "running away" (in fact i'd argue what she was doing before, pretending to be fine, was "running away") - shima by his own admission couldn't figure out the nature of his feelings toward her, and mitsumi got hurt in the process because of his confusion. it makes sense...
