If the lifespan can suddenly drop by sudden acts a long time in the making, it defeats the purpose of it. The only person who should be able to adjust it is the person who knows the number and can change their behavior accordingly. The payoff for this mystery better be good.
If the author is really committed to this being her first love, it's really shoehorned in. It just wasn't there until this arc. As if Hakusei's life didn't suck enough.
I prefer option 2. The redraws look great! I don't think they are time-efficient. Most official localizations just do small labels next to the text for good reason.
Chill with the hate guys, this is just one big misunderstanding found upon another one. Neither wants to properly communicate for fear of realizing the other wasn't really being serious. Typical drama.
What's this? A cheery, straightforward ditz who thinks just enough to concoct a workable plan without becoming an micromanaging genius schemer? Refreshing. And hella romantic.
The woman gets more despicable every chapter. Emotionally and sexually abuse your "son" because you want him to kill you out of some twisted guilty conscience. Off yourself, you hag.
@keks503 Look again. There's a kaboom every time Runa speaks. No matter what he says, the fireworks somehow drowns him out right on cue and she misreads his lips. He is so frustrated that he straight up confesses and she still misses it.
@c0c0c0 I'm not being negative about it. I actually like the fake out. He knew the punchline, she set up the tee, he swung, she still missed. That's the joke. It's hilarious.
