Huh, didn't expect people to hate it this much. While I agree that this backstory has been dragged for way too long and should've been put on the prequel series, I won't go so far as calling this a trash manga. Sure it's a mid series at best, but it's not on "trash" level yet.

Don't know why I didn't realize the Chinese-Japanese inconsistency from Suiren or Gyokuyou, especially Gyokuyou which sounds very Japanese. But Jinshi's real name definitely threw me off, because Zuigetsu is obviously a Japanese name, specifically the Getsu reading of 月.
