Did I watch this movie in the 70s?

I don't hate this, but I still hate Griffith! It's interesting to me: I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be feeling during these chapters. I'm constantly hoping for his eventual downfall, or for someone to witness his corruption, but it's presenting him as legendary hero benevolent god...

This is kinda great. Maybe the first time I laughed while reading this author's manga. I want it to turn into complete exploitation schlock.

Wait a sec, since when does Johnson have eyeballs? Have i just never noticed til now?

I've started re-reading the manga as we approach the end and I'm surprised how skinny Kaiman and Nikaido are at the beginning (in comparison to the present). It makes sense since they've been eating Gyoza for the entire duration of the manga. I'm loving the idea that this was intentional.
