My copium levels are on maximum overdrive. Also, I don't think that their lack of communication will be dragged on for that much longer - they both acknowledged it and seem determined to say something about the underlying issue.

The MC is definitely too good for the rest of the characters.

I would definitely say that the last page/panel was super/blatantly symbolic regarding the future of the MC/FMC relationship in the future.
