Here's the setup. Innocent girl gets drunk and depressed over difficulties establishing relationship. Unpleasant people try to take advantage of her. Girl is saved by love interest, possibly with a display of the love interest's power, and the relationship gets kickstarted. Meh.

@werewolf914 Hitler wasn't a "decorated soldier"; he barely fought in WW1 at all.

@1234muse Japan didn't do much in WW1, and since this story is set around WW1 timeline-wise...

Way I read it, the reason he's calling her his sister is the way you'd call your betrothed's sister your sister-in-law. I wonder whether that's the case.

I like that this manga's characters have personality despite the outwardly kind of generic setting and set-up. Not all of them have interesting personalities (the resident holy knights come to mind) but none of them are flatly blank slates how characters in many other manga like this might.
