Ah, that was sweet, not giving up finally paid off for Uta. But what a long wait it was, wow. Well, I'm happy to see that Kaoru's changed and has become bold enough to kiss Uta, even if it required a few drinks.

Looks like they did get together after all, but whey does Uta claim she hasn't seen Kaoru in a year? She didn't seem surprised at all to have her open the door. But if Uta and her brother live that close together, this will be awkward.

Ah my, that was great, they finally put all the cards on the table. So they'll be room mates from now on... why not. That's probably more realistic than Kaoru suddenly loving Uta.

Risako is clearly trying to keep Kaoru from Reichi, for whatever reason. Maybe she figured she was doing her a favour by removing him from the market, and thus allowing Kaoru to move on. Probably not though.
