The latest chapter (3.1) reminded me of Endo and Kobayashi’s Live Commentary on the Villainess. The whole misunderstanding each other and the prince suddenly getting insight into the girl's thoughts.

Note that that these should be called "phantoms" rather than "ghosts." Two different things in Touhou. Ghosts look more human and aren't cold. Youmu is half-phantom, however.
