This series is pretty great. I'm glad all the "but why is jiu ji tae not getting stronger?" has mostly drained away at this point

Any recommendations of decent manhua like this? Not overly focused on details of cultivation, not a reincarnation or an ultra linear power creep type plot line where the MC is always on top... I also REALLY love the gritty artstyle of this series.

@recaso The only manhua I've seen that actually fleshes it out in a way that's not a complete snoozefest - the illustration/storytelling here was pretty neat. I'd be interested in reading more chinese works of this quality if you guys have any to recommend

@aldebaran people like this is why so many of these stories are just self-transplant/wish-fulfillment type narratives. People make mistakes, and they learn from them. That's how life works. At the very least, meat spoilage has been known as long as people have been eating meat. Germs specifically have been conceptualized since 1700s.
