My own team is currently really riding the line on getting into the playoffs this season, after an abysmal start, so I can really feel this chapter. The math and the praying...
Wow, thank you for releasing so many chapters at once, I don't know how I'd keep up with the suspense if this was a weekly or monthly. One of those manga that's just better in volumes.
Thank you for the scanlation; as always Illuminati picks interesting projects and does a great job.
Not everything has to have a simple and easy ending, or a moral, or even any kind of resolution to be worth reading.
I love comics that work like this, breaking the boundaries.
Also I think we have learned that Arthur is a scary strong magician, not just a guy who is nice to animals.
I'll agree the plot ending wasn't the strongest, but this manga was always mostly about the characters and their relationships with death/suicide. That part still holds up. Thank you for your work, Peckham Scanlations!
Ahh, teenage romance. Going on a date in slaughterhouse, asking your boyfriend to kiss you, joking about him not killing and eating you, getting pissed because he's more concerned about your long-term future than your love now... Wait a minute...
Yamada is one of the most accurate depictions of pretentious teenage boys I've ever read. So many think they are the cool Gantz protag, but actually are this guy. Face it, Chiho-chan is the real hero.
Please remember it's always the types that read these gambling/survival/puzzle manga and think "I would totally pwn all those idiots! Why didn't they just do x,y,z!" who are usually the Kenji/ichi in the end. This author totally gets it.
