Double Helix Blossom - Ch. 16

The terrorist has immediately made a blunder by not even trying to sway Kyou to join her anti-interceptor crusade. With her loyalty to Mum assured, this could be a very one-sided encounter.

    Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

He avoids using a smartphone as much as he can? I too used to be fond of analog media but once I've gone mobile five years ago, it's hard to go back. I think this is an issue everywhere in the world. If you like the conveniences of civilization, you'll struggle in a remote place, far away from...

My Father Has Become a Beautiful Girl and It's a Lot of Pain - Vol. 1 Ch. 2

Looking at the description I had a faint hope that this could use the genderswap hook to tell a meaningful story about having to reinvent yourself. Losing direction in life because of an abrupt development is definitely a hard challenge to overcome.

Vegetable Garden Of Twins - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Que Sera, Sera

I agree that that the chapter was busy, with abrupt developments, and excessive exposition that could've been drip-fed over several chapters with no detriment to the story. And despite the hectic pace, the titular twin wasn't even mentioned yet.

    Lick. - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

Gross. The faces are rather expressive, though. Especially when it comes to displaying extreme emotions with unnerving detail.

Yande Kita Mahou Shoujo no Nichijou - Ch. 6 - The Daily Life of a Not Yet Mentally Ill Magical Girl...1

I think we're supposed to feel lost in this disjointed, melancholic, oppressive, confusing, and grim narrative... Just like MC who's lost in her own mind.

Slime Seijo - Vol. 2 Ch. 13 - The Targeted Saint

Well, they do call her the Heinous Villainess, so the heroic tone fits. Also, using dehumanizing language helps ease your conscience, kind of like in military language you don't say 'kill', but 'engage and destroy targets'. The slime mimics human blood, and evidently does so too well, at the...

Rise of the Kowtowing Girl ~Sacrificial Revenge Game~ - Vol. 2 Ch. 11

Perhaps neither. This kinda knowledge is easy to stumble on while enjoying horror stories, or reading popular science trivia articles. I wouldn't be surprised if many people already knew that.

Mousou Sensei - Vol. 1 Ch. 11 - Big Melons

Aww, even though she thinks he's a perv, she still wants him to avoid misusing the language just in case he's not one. Her efforts may be misguided but her intentions are noble. That last page, though: I get why a highschooler who likes ESL may be seen as a weirdo, but what's so weird about him...

My Father Has Become a Beautiful Girl and It's a Lot of Pain - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

Reminds me of that neko okaa-san story from a while ago, even the comments were similar. That description makes it sound like at least a semi-serious take on having the reliable family provider get downgraded to a burden, which is a theme that's been interesting to me lately.

Yande Kita Mahou Shoujo no Nichijou - Ch. 6 - The Daily Life of a Not Yet Mentally Ill Magical Girl...1

I think some authors go overboard with the amount of suffering they inflict to their characters, as if they felt a need to reach a certain threshold of misery to carry a point across. I mean, it's easy to add multiple scenes of hardcore bullying, parental abuse or romantic rejection, to the...

Is every nee-san childhood friend into hunting insects?

Rise of the Kowtowing Girl ~Sacrificial Revenge Game~ - Vol. 2 Ch. 10

No kidding. If you're going to throw your friend under the bus, you might as well make the most of it. Otherwise the sacrifice is meaningless, which is as upsetting as the betrayal itself. And you know the forgiveness is valuable when a person forgiving you has otherwise no problem with putting...

Tonari no Kuderella o Amayakashitara, Uchi no Aikagi o Watasu Koto ni Natta - Vol. 3 Ch. 14

Never even had a crush, huh? Hmm, relatable... How did he end up like this, is he broken or just distracted?

Yeah, her and Aeris's whole personality is all about competing for the title of the thirstiest bimbo.

Yande Kita Mahou Shoujo no Nichijou - Ch. 5 - Illness as seen by the Superior Magical Girl...

Rather than magical girls, they act more like black company wageslaves. They make it sound like a dull project with deadlines, quotas and efficiency. They don't seem to enjoy it, and don't even bother with cutesy outfits or wands. These arrangements could break an adult.

Eroge no Sekai de Slow Life ~ Issho ni Isekai Teni shitekita Yarisaa no Daigakusei-tachi ni Tsuihou sareta node, Henkyou de Muteki ni Natte Shin no H…

That's a peculiarly casual take on casual nudity - even MC is mostly ignoring it. And this is a perfectly ordinary outfit that's only slightly off, rather than some ridiculously impractical and revealing piece.

That's dirty. Provoking the guy just to have a leg up in math.
