it's astonishing how fast the father made a 180°. it took maybe an evening for him to sober up from everything and gets granted forgiveness by his daughter and the MC? a bit too fast, too easy, even with that attack on him.

the series where a nation, or king, summons a group of "heroes" and treat them justly is rather rare. you can easily craft up some stories from individuals being unhappy about the summoning and draft up some character development from that, which is alot harder if the summonders are trying to...

yeah, seems to finish on Volume 3. too bad really, the plot feels fresh enough and this chapter had me in for a few more arcs initially. as usual, boring endless-runners are reaching higher 2 digits on volumes and interesting series are dropped. :(

fusing with monsters is the common trope towards his utter fall. they could have made a cut in the battle at some point, but not only enforcing a final boss mentality but also casually explaing the ancient class tomes make me wonder whether the author has to end this arc, or the series, soon.
