Uhm, yeah this feels weird to read what with them being middle schoolers. Other than that the protagonist is adorable, but yeesh couldn't they all (except the caretaker) be a couple years older at least?

Gosh, was a long time since I last saw this so though to read through it again. And while it certainly isn't my cup of tea, it has improved remember from the gag comic it was at the start.

Say what you want about these high school zombie manga, but I love how brazen they are. The cover page of each chapter is a pic of good looking girls, followed by pages upon pages about a world turned into a loving hellscape with zombies and maggot infested freaks of nature.

Still the gold standard of a good, epic manga focused on warfare.

@TheGoodFella Do you have any specific examples? I see some parts among the most recent chapters that are very rapey, involving characters who we have known from the start are the scum of the earth. But aside from that I can't find anything.

Magical girl parodies are in vogue right now, and thus also compete with one another for attention. With that in mind this manga reminds me of Pretty Bell, yet pales in comparison in terms of humour, action and characters. Isn't to say that this won't be good, just that I personally believe...

Incredible how Walter in one chapter showed why he shouldn't be number 1.

@DonHazzy the prequel was good, this has been awful since the start. A literal rape drug was introduced as an arc gag (and no I'm not kidding on that one), and in a character abandons someone in the woods in order to blackmail and decieve another character. Mizuno is still fun to see though...

I honestly suspect that Tanaka is doing his utmost to survive the madness that is his love interest. She's literally tried to drown him due to not accepting her advances. Better take it nice and slow than risk her doing anything crazy.
