yes it is... but is not that well known as the female counterpart... the Daru sue was just a play on words It would be impressive if they make Daru unable to hold his own against the demon... i guess the author now has at least two choices, either they make Daru unable to fight and defend...

Characters like Daru are plenty, you can find them in many mangas, why they work while this one doesn't... because the very first meaningful thing he does is being a horrible guy to some innocent person and then the author doubles down and show us the story of the other guy and is a more...

I mean... i like when they show all about team work and stuff... but when you know that all is just a setup for the Mary sue of the story (Daru sue?), It only gets tiresome... not only that, now we know Daru was the guy that saved them before. I would like to see how the author reacts when...

I think that yes, he was... but the way they kick him out is incredibly stupid, like, none of those 3 people ever thought that Est would go to the dungeon alone if they give him "you are weak" as the reason why, the elf mage probably knew or at least could think that Est needed special training...

This is so funny... first time that i see the comments actively rooting for the enemy ...now to wait and see how The Great Daru will defeat the demon... probably will use Est and then push him away because this is Daru´s world and only him must be the big shot

They are flying too close to the sun... probably the villagers are going to do something bad, demon queen will defend the hero and the hero will know about demon queen´s identity... or maybe the hero will see other demons doing horrible things...

I agree, the story does not say he is bad... but (and I´m only talking about the manga) if you put together everything he has done, he seemed far too chill just letting Est go and die in a dungeon. The story already told us that Daru is experienced, and that little speech that he gives Est about...

If this story does not end with Daru being a manipulative A-hole that wanted Est out or dead so he could get "his party" back... then i will apologize to myself for the time wasted, like the only thing that i want is for the party to acknowledge how stupid they where and not in a "i´m the...
