A lot of you guys are basing things on assumed or faulty knowledge and I would say that's worse than the MC's trail and error (the basis for pretty much all knowledge and wisdom) even if its risky.

I think its the fact that it never specified a time. He would have had to have been up to see the timer changing colour to be alarmed. I'm not sure how long he slept but if he didn't start immediately I doubt he would make it.

@wolfeng I hope the same but unfortunately that's probably a doomed hope. Its sad considering that would mean he would discard the very thing that gave him the change to complete the quest.

Its mostly world building and getting to know important characters so far. There probably should have been more attempts at finding direction by the MC but so far I'm enjoying the characters introduced enough that it won't matter in the short term for me.

This manhua had me from the time it showed me the adorable little potato looking guys but then it had them literally shit bricks and I was a fan.

@kazaddum I keep seeing this but the magazine its published is influenced by content. Seinen magazines publish seinen targeted manga. Its not absolute but its the general idea.
