My interpretation of this story is it's basically a lesson on the differences between "niceness" and "kindness" as people often mistake them as the same thing when not all niceness is kind and it's the same vice versa.

This is legit a masterpiece. If you can tolerate the scuffed translation of the early parts of this you are in for a treat.
