I'm not real impressed by the out-of-the-blue mid-chapter PoV switch. Giving us the prince's motivations and internal thought process on a platter like that before the heroine's even had a chance to form an impression of him...it's bothering me, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

@ampnaman From what I can tell, most of the medieval Europe-esque ones are apparently cribbing their settings from an otome game called Meine Liebe, in the same way that most videogame-esque isekai base themselves off of Dragon Quest and most RPG fantasy settings pull from Tolkien's stuff...

@GunDon The prince is the one foiling Bertia's plan for the heroine, so it's mostly his fault, really. As literally everybody in the story knows, he's the truly evil one here.

My interpretation: his isekai cheat skill is that the god in charge of the world supplies his subconscious with real facts whenever he tries to come up with nonsense backstories and whatnot.
