because chapters have to end at some point, and its better to end at a more memorable point than just "wherever the fuck, whatever the fuck they're doing". makes it easier for the audience to retain the immediate plot, makes it easier for the author to find the starting point of the next chapter.

pretty good chapter, my only real problem is that the 'heroine' went and jumped straight into the otome player archtype and basically defeated herself like they pretty much always do. a shame because the protagonist's incisive dialogue was where the charm was.
