Oh? The new sergeant (Gustaw), is he the veteran sergeant from chapter 2? The one who was missing a leg? The thing he has on his left leg in this chapter might be a prosthetic leg then. (and it seems to be on his leg at the right height on what was left of that same left).

@mahtan I disagree. This series has always been about the characters. These chapter are there for the further establishment and development of the S-Class hero characters. This series has always been more focused on characters other than Saitama, and it will keep being so. This isn't filler.

Why do people keep saying this is filler. Almost every chapter even. This is all written by ONE as a remake of the web comic(but with more content). Murata only does the art, all decisions for story, characters and battle choreography are done by ONE. This is the way it is because ONE thought it...

@Hollow7F My bad, I just looked it up and it seems like those scanned novel-like pages for the side-story haven't been put on this site. I recommend you to go check them out on other site, such as Mangasee or Mangarock. You can identify them relatively easily in the chapter list with them...

@Hollow7F You would've already known for quite a long time had you read the novel-like chapters at the end of each manga volumes. By that I mean the Slime Observation Journal/Diary side-story.
