Great...I saw two updates and thought it was two new chapters for a second...

I decided to add a notes page at the end of chapters like I've seen official manga releases do in the past. I don't like adding stuff between panels and I hate when scanlators add stuff like their own jokes and random comments there.

@Purplelibraryguy That's not what the comments here were complaining about. Also that's more of a personal problem, not the problem. It's labeled comedy and slice of life. Slice of life can have other stuff going on, but generally not where you want to look if you want something to keep you...

@greatninja3 Probably the latter. I've noticed there's a lot of moral police types here that like to go to fringe subject matter just to tell everyone how horrible they are for reading it or how horrible they think the characters are for their situations. Most recent I can think of is 1 x ½...

@Varler The original used a broad term in the first chapter that means to separate or split up. We associate a couple separating as divorce so it's easy to get confused here but Hatsutaro's character intro in the second chapter says they separated due to work. I've seen other manga scenarios...

@RexNemorensis @Tetragramat I don't know about that. You can just barely make out some kanji and radicals in there. As if the author wrote the dialogue quickly with their non-dominant hand. I think it's true that the reader isn't meant to fully understand what they're saying, but it does...

Too much hate on dad. The story does a pretty good job of showing how tough both of their situations are. I just want them both to be happy.

Typesetter made a HUGE screwup in the first chapter. A shame since it looks like they put in some effort to redrew. Page 17, Ren's party is labelled as Motoyasu's, Itsuki's party is labelled as Ren's, Naofumi's party is labelled as Itsuki's, and Motoyasu's party is labelled as Naofumi's...

Got invested in the first story. Disappointed it was just a oneshot. Made everything else meh to me.
