Ultimate way to win in that scenario would be to look and not react.. these scenes always annoy me a bit as all the power comes from the guy, just don't react and see the whole thing fall flat on it's face
You could just chain the knight to a rock and throw him down a well. Let him drown, revive and drown again. Slow, simple, painful, feels like something this series might do.
The flashy ideas are interesting to read though :p
It get that it's just the setup for the series but if you'd already worked up the courage to write down your feelings and give a letter to your crush, it's not that much of a step to just go "fuckit, go tell everyone then >.< "
Thanks @katelyngadd, @chairlight ! :D
After reading your replies and a bit of re-reading I think it's closer to how @chairlight puts it. (All my source is only the manhua, never read the web novels! )
Even with what I was thinking above I think i'm gonna reread the whole thing anyway >.< (at...
So like... it's been so long since I've been reading this but one thing I could never work out.. the Knight and the Vampire ... Is it split personality like the hulk.. or like a merging of the two or like Prof. Hulk.
What gets me is.. it said at some point that the Duchess used to be a knight? I mean, I know it's more 'noble' than a maid, but it's not like either daughter is a pure blood aristocrat (ahh the inbreeding!)
