there are likely over 9000 million of these bastards... even more of a reason to just carpet bomb them rather than sending out soldiers

modern weapons blowing them up spread the spores ok.... so why not carpet bomb with incendiary bombs/ napalm afterwards to burn away the spores? send in shock troops with NBC gear and tanks to destroy them and quickly evacuate then quickly carpet bomb the area burning away any potential spores...

can i just say... build a thin golem around the skeleton of the dragon and form a dragon golem from it the bones of the dragon are probably super strong with the regenerative abilities of the golems just keep the core in the rib cage or skull and you got a super sturdy golem with a protected...
