Indeed, as soon as some specific thing is mentioned in any type of story it will forever stay there. In this case it'd be better to say "kids move on too fast" or such, making it more neutral. After all, people always move from topic to topic unless they operate in a bubble.

This probably has been said before but it would be quite ironic if Wakaba does end up hating Umezono by the end of the series and they break up in the most hurtful way. :thonk:
