some of the spirits in this chapter are really freaky. It's not much, but coming from such a usually comfy series, it makes an impression.

is the slanted pages on purpose? I thought it was to give a sense of uncertainty and turmoil, until the Daddy in the East settled her mind, but the pages kept being slanted after that, except only every other page. So it seems like a scanning mistake?

I'm impressed that the author is getting so much mileage out of this premise, and especially impressed that he hasn't just introduced a dozen new weapon girls by now. This one's an axe, this one's a mace, this one's a trident, etc. I'm sure we'll get more eventually, but this pace is encouraging.

Oh no! His time is almost over... I've always been a Nobunaga fan, and thought Takeda was overrated, but this manga has shown me why he's so popular in Japan.

You know, I'm actually totally okay with this series lasting as long as it did. Much more, and the premise would start to wear thin. It's amazing the author was able to keep it going as it was. So I'm looking forward to their next work! Lucky serialization number 7?

I think Dumbell Nan Kilo took this basic concept and ran with it in a better direction, but this one is so gonzo I can't help but enjoy it. Hope to see the rest of the chapters soon! Thank you for your hard work.

@codeotaku Keep in mind this is a Japanese tournament, long before the double elimination bracket was standardized. Running a single-elimination tournament, with also a "second-chance" bracket, isn't out of the question. For instance, the M-1 Grand Prix Manzi tournament arrives at 8 Finalists...
