I don't want Adonis to lose until he fights Cestvs because their fighting styles are similar. When or if they do fight it'll be a battle of the speed gods and I think it would be super fun to watch. Plus if Cestvs manages to beat him, I think he'll learn a lot from that fight and evolve...

@undercurses The dead spirit of Reid only coming to Nicole could easily be explained by the fact that she inherited all of his old skills. Nicole could use this as a basis and say that she has some kind of unknown connection to just his spirit. Also, the author wouldn't have to create another...

I just thought of this now but why doesn't the MC just pretend that she can see the "spirit" of her former self (Reid). So that way she can live as their daughter but still close up "loose ends" for Reid at the same time. Example: If she needs to tell the other heroes something that only Reid...

I feel like some pages were missing there at the end but that could just be me.

I had hopes for this series but so far its been really boring and cliche so I think this is where my journey ends. Enjoy the adventure my fellow degenerates!
