I love the art but really.. she hated getting pitied by a rich woman so she sought to get revenge by..executing her family? Wasn't stealing her fiance enough? I want to stick with the story for the art but if the antagonist has some weak reason to hate her that will be boring.

I like this story as a coming of age novel, though its not perfect its nice to have a story focus on healing and growth instead of romance. So if you expect any romance in this story... don't get your hopes up if it follows the original novel.
