It's how it is written and/or pronounced in Japanese (specificially in Katakana). Angelina is written as AN-JE-RI-NA in katakana in the raws so her nickname is JE-RI. I guess it would've better if they translated it as Geli or Jeli to make it more correct.

The "Circle Crusher" villainess is sending many challengers to Touma that eventually Touma's circle will be made of his harem that it will be difficult to crush.
